The odour control is actually quite good. Since we have two cats and a relatively large litter box, one bag of litter is a little insufficient for us. So there is still some smell from the poop, but it’s not too strong.
However, the more serious issue is with the urine clumps. When the urine clump is quite large, it doesn’t form a solid clump and tends to stick to the bottom of the litter box. As you can see, when I first scoop it, there is one large clump, but it isn’t properly formed or dry. It’s more soft and sticky and remains stuck to the bottom of the litter box. When I have to apply more force to remove it, the large clump breaks apart into many smaller pieces.
Other than that, everything else is pretty good.

The litter does a great job of wrapping the poop, but the urine clumps aren’t always as solid. It can be a little sticky on the bottom and the scoop. I think it might be because my litter box is quite large, so the layer of litter is a bit too thin.

I mixed this with tofu cat litter. It forms fast, solid clumps and doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter box. There's very little odour, but it does tend to track a bit more easily.
From my experience, if I scoop the litter immediately after my cat pees, the clump can be a little crumbly. However, once it has had time to fully absorb and set, the clumping is strong and holds together really well.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with this cat litter. The odour control and clumping performance are comparable to Michu tofu litter and The Catsentials tofu/tapioca blend, with no noticeable difference in daily use.
The only downside is a bit of tracking, which I believe is a common characteristic of small-pellet tapioca litter rather than a product issue. Overall, it performs very well and meets my expectations.
The first thing I liked was that it's made locally. I also thought the sand-like texture was a great idea because it's closer to soil than the tofu pellets I currently use, so I expected my cats would prefer it.
In practice though, I found the fine texture tracked more, stuck to their fur more, and was more annoying underfoot than the tofu pellets. Urine also tended to stick to the bottom of the tray and was harder to scrape off. I use stainless steel trays so it's not a big issue, but I imagine it could scratch plastic trays more and speed up their deterioration.
I wonder whether a larger, bead-like tapioca grain might work better (like the image below that you have on your webpage). I don't think that I have seen any other litter in this form on the market. I think it would reduce tracking, stick less to cats' fur, and be less likely to adhere to the bottom of the tray. Just an idea!
Overall, I really like the concept and love that it's a South Australian-made product.
Overall, it’s been a really positive experience. I also love the packaging, logo, colour palette and overall brand aesthetic - it feels modern, clean and appealing 🥰 Love the paper texture bag as it feels eco friendly but unfortunately ours got punctured during delivery, just unlucky 🤣

Puchi has a fine texture, is easy to scoop, and my cat was comfortable using it straight away. It clumps well and keeps the tray looking clean.
One small downside is that there can be a little tracking outside the litter box, especially with an open tray. A litter mat or enclosed tray would help reduce this.
My cat took to Puchi straight away! She was curious from the first day and had no problem using it. The litter is very fine and soft on her paws, and I love how easy it is to scoop. It also keeps the litter tray looking clean and tidy. So happy we gave it a try!
The cats used it with no issues, it smells ok and clumps when wet for easy removal. So overall is ok. The main issues is that because it is so fine the cats spread it outside the litter box and around the house a fair bit (much more than other products).
Mochi has used the litter for a couple days now and WOW it’s amazing!
It clumps immediately which means the automatic litter can clean straight away, it’s fabulous.
The odour control is fantastic we never can smell her wee’s or poo’s anymore like we used to be able to. It’s a breath of fresh air coming home and the house not smelly like cat business😅
The size of the litter is the perfect size for our little box and last so much longer than any other litter we have used.

I am loving the cat litter and so are the girls. Loving how little to no tracking it is and so good for clumping.
Litter tracks a lot, not dusty so that’s good, clumps to a very hard lump that sticks to the bottom of the litter tray.
Particles are very tiny so leaves little pellets when they walk away from the tray. No issue with odour which is good.
